CZ Wang is a DJ, producer, and engineer based in New York, with deep roots in Vancouver’s Mood Hut collective. Over the past decade, he’s shaped left-of-center music scenes as both a selector and a steady hand behind the boards, lending his ear to projects with Huerco S, Okay Kaya, Jack J, Daniela Lalita, Nick León, DāM-FunK, and Natural Wonder Beauty Concept (Ana Roxanne and DJ Python). His track “Just Off Wave” has quietly amassed millions of streams on Spotify.

He has held residencies at Public Records and Eavesdrop, and has appeared at festivals like Sustain-Release and MoMA PS1 Warm Up, as well as clubs including Nowadays (NYC), Bar Part Time (SF), Miscellania (Melbourne/Naarm), Sunday Sunday (CDMX), Pawnshop (Taipei), and Renate (Berlin). His Crack Magazine mix was named Mix of the Day by Resident Advisor, and his Lot Radio set with DJ Fart In The Club was featured in Mixmag’s Best Mixes of September. He’s also appeared on Beats in Space, NTS, and the Animilia Mix Series.
